Credit & Collections
Using your excellent customer service, negotiation, communication and analytical skills, you’ll respond to queries from both internal and external clients. Through assessing risk management, collecting payments, monitoring portfolios and keeping records, this department ensures accounts are up to date and paid in a timely manner.
“I started at Canon as a credit representative and was promoted three years later. I envision having a team that is dynamic and engaged with our sales team and customers. Success is measured and achieved when we have an uninterrupted sales cycle from billing to payment that’s in line with our terms and customer contracts.”
Natalie, Credit Operations Supervisor, with Canon Canada since 2013
“You need to be an eager learner, an empathetic listener and an excellent negotiator. Success comes when you are proactive in managing your assigned accounts while mitigating risk and balancing the priorities of various stakeholders. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. I envision a team that establishes strong relationships with customers and enjoys open communication with other divisions within Canon.”
Lisa, Senior Credit Manager, with Canon Canada since 2010
“I love my job. Helping customers, either by resolving their collection situation or by simply answering their questions, or members of my team, by drawing upon my experiences, gives me the most satisfaction.”
Marilyn, Credit Team Lead, with Canon Canada since 1989
