Marketing Technologies Specialist – Hybrid

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Technology Operations Manager, you will be vital in maintaining and optimizing marketing applications across multiple business units within Canon Canada. You will enable stakeholders to use these tools effectively and contribute to expanding Canon Canada’s marketing and service application capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining existing software applications (Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, MuleSoft)
    • Making approved changes by developing detailed programming logic and coding changes.
    • Analyzing the performance of tools and taking action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and management.
    • Writing and maintaining documentation for software projects.
    • Documenting programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Supporting the daily operations of all Marketing Technology applications, including:
    • User account management
    • First-level support for user issues
  • Troubleshooting and adjusting workflow rules,
    • Designing workspace, user roles and hierarchy
    • Customizing data integrations, managing security and data
  • Working with various stakeholders including internal resources consultants and third-party to assist with marketing technology projects (Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Translating stakeholder needs into business requirements for configuration and development of Marketing Technology applications.
  • Creating and maintaining basic reports
  • Providing training for all internal users of Marketing Technology applications.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience with Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Certification as an Administrator preferred.
  • Refined use of Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and MuleSoft.
  • Analytical skills are required to understand business requirements and determine the appropriate workflows/business processes in various marketing technology applications.
  • Project and time management skills required to assist in marketing technology projects with various stakeholders.
  • Strong time management/multitasking skills to balance multiple projects and requests.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • French is considered an asset.
